Create new variations for existing listing via upload
Hi, it seems this has been asked before but I’ve never found an answer.
I am trying to add a new size to my current listing (XXL). I have added them into my excel sheet, put in all the correct details so they match my other variations, set the update_delete field to “Update”, but yet it still fails to add the listings.
I get the following error in the draft listing: !Variation Theme : You need to specify at least one variation child, because of the value selected under Variations Theme
I have around 200 new products to add so manual labour is not an option here. I need to be able to add them via upload.

Adding variations seems to be a topic that does not get many answers on these forums, especially when using an inventory loader,
Looks like you have a problem with the inventory loader. The error indicates that a child variation has not been added, or you’re using the wrong syntax.
Easiest thing to do is to mail me a copy of the inventory file/flat file you have uploaded, to try and work it out.
