Temporary restraining order issued by a federal court
I've been an Amazon seller for 4 years, and I suddenly received the following email:
From Amazon.com
"We're sorry to inform you that we've removed some of your listings and have put a hold on payments from your seller account. We've taken this action in accordance with a temporary restraining order issued by a federal court.
To resolve this dispute, we recommend that you contact the rights holder directly.
If you have resolved this matter with the rights holder, please contact us and ask them to withdraw their complaint."
I've been in contact with the rights holder (their agent), but I haven't heard back from them.
What should I do in this case?
Will the withholding of payments continue?
If anyone has had a similar experience, please give me some advice.

Have you spoken to a lawyer? This is a TRO from the courts; it's not something to handle on your own.

Hello @Seller_uFArpNUWFi2eg,
Thank you for reaching out on the forums.
I see that you are seeking guidance about your next steps to address a temporary restraining order that you received.
Given the legal nature of this type of concern I am not able to give you advice on what you should do next. However, I can tell you that you or your legal counsel must work with the rights owner and their legal counsel directly to address this. Their information should have been provided to you in the performance notification you received.
Once you have successfully addressed this matter with the rights owner, please advise them to contact us to retract the complaint and confirm resolution. Funds will be held until this issue has been successfully resolved.
I hope this is helpful to you. The forums community and I are here to support you.
Wishing you the best,
LeviDylan
