I have just had a phone call from an amazon customer on my personal mobile number, any idea how they got my phone number and how i can stop this happening?

Or a divert on a landlines from your Google info ?
If not, are you sure it was a genuine call ?

we have no customer service phone number on our seller profile, but on our seller profile under the address section it shows a phone number, im not sure if this is visible to the customer as i have gone into one of our listings and looked for a phone number and cant find one for us

Is it on the returns address information - if a customer begins the return process they will be shown your returns contact information. I take it this was a customer who had purchased from you?

Could you try Googling your number see if it come up anywhere on amazon or buisness information etc.

Hi all, sorry for the late reply i had to dash very quickly yesterday due to a family emergency,
I tried googling my number and nothing comes up, i have checked the returns settings and theres no phone number showing
I also downloaded the customer invoice and its also not showing on there either
I have no idea how this could have happened other than customer services giving it out?

I had an incident a few months back where Amazon customer service gave the phone number of my registered business to a buyer in order for them to contact me. i was amazed.

Unless it’s now different, it’s as PeterB says above. I’ve had it happen twice, customers have phoned my landline about their orders. This was a few years ago and I looked into it at the time. My landline is not displayed anyway on my general viewing profile and I’m not in the phonebook.
