Account Deactivated for wrong legal entity

My seller account has been deactivated because i incorrectly selected ‘individual’ as my legal entity (meaning i don’t sell for profit) instead of sole trader.

I would like to change this but i cannot with the account closed. I am registered as a sole trader and i have a utr number.

I have sent out about 4 appeals, the first of which being 6 weeks ago and i havent heard anything back.

Has anyone experienced an account deactivation? If so, how long did it take for Amazon to respond to your appeal?

There are professionals offering services to do a proper appeal and get the account back but they charge £500+ so i’d ideally like to avoid this.

Note: my account was deactivated in April and i only just appealed it in September (not sure if this makes a difference)

You needed to contact seller support and ask them to reopen the legal entity section of your account

Yes it could do as there is usually a time limit

How can i contact seller support whilst my account is deactivated?

It doesn’t all me to do so in the usual way

It happened at a busy period for me but im eager to get back to selling now

I wasn’t already registered but i have now done so.

Because ive left it for 6 months does that mean they’ll take a long time to get back to me?

In this case, when your account is deactivated, you will receive email notification with further instructions to reactivate your account. We request you to kindly go through the email and execute the further steps for account reactivation. You can find this email under performance notifications tab.

Also, I’m sharing some basic steps to reactivate your account. Please update your legal entity by following the instructions below.

– Go to the “Account Info” page in the “Settings” section of Seller Central (https://sellercentral-europe.amazon.com/gp/on-board/configuration/index.html)
– Click “Edit” in the “Business and Contact Information” section and select the relevant legal entity.
– Confirm the business details and click “Submit”.
