What is the difference between using my own Exporter of Record and Carrier's Exporter of Record for custom declaration?
When I choose to send my products from China to Amazon warehouse using Amazon partnered carrier, I came across these options, my own EOR or carrier's EOR (please see the attached photo).
Actually what's that mean? First I'm not sure I have my own EOR. Second, choosing carrier's EOR makes the shipment much cheaper so it raise my concern. I really don't know how to pick. Anyone could answer it that would be much appreciation. Thanks.

Hi @Seller_SLYgklxlNeMmJ,
Steve from Amazon here, thank you for reaching out. Generally, the shipper/carrier is the exporter of record. However, If you have an export license, you can use your license and be the Exporter of Record. Please keep in mind that in that situation, additional charges may apply.
Please reference the below resource for more information on this topic.
Thanks,
Steve
