Reopening of Brand Applications

I see that Converse and Nike are both not accepting applications for new products. Once a brand is not accepting applications, will it ever reopen? If so, how long does it usually take and are there any other brands that are anticipating to be closed soon?

Most large name brands like Nike are cracking down on resellers of their products on Amazon.

At this point brands like Adidas, Under Armor, etc. are not allowing anyone outside of who they personally have business with to sell their products on Amazon.

Hello @Seller_W9mbFqJWNWFcE,

My name is Dougal from the Community Manager Team and I wanted to jump in here to provide some info that you may or may not be aware of.

First, I do not know and cannot share if Amazon will be reopening selling applications or anticipating any other closures on Brands. My recommendation is to work with the brands directly to obtain that information.

I also want to make you aware that if you are working with a brand directly, you do not have to complete a brand selling application. A brand can provide you Selling Benefits for their brand themselves via Brand Registry.

Best, Dougal
