Product Id for variations not generated
I have successfully create a draft product listing which has variations.
However I cannot submit because it has not generated the external product id.
Note I have my product listed under my own registered brand,
How can I fix this ?

You must provide your own external product ID (EAN number), Amazon don't provide/generate them for you.
You have to purchase/licence them from GS1UK, one EAN per variant

I had problems like that. When I added stock to the listing ie 5 products it worked but not if stock is zero.

Following on your post. As per peer Seller mentioned (thank you for your assistance) each variation will need product ID and SKU. Could you tell us if this option work for your current problem?
