Useless Seller Support with solving problems
Hello fellow sellers,
I would like to express my frustration and how extremely dissatisfied with German seller support I am.
I came across an issue - one of my listings was blocked (detail page removed due to non compliance) and in order to reinstate I needed to provide a set of documents, which i did.
Some of the documents were rejected in unclear form such as “declaration of conformity is incomplete or missing”, however, they do not specify exactly which part of the declaration does not satisfy their requirements.
All they do give me a reference link which I already studied throughly, moreover I followed the EU standard on completing the DOC which according to the requirements outlined on Amazon designated page must be good enough.
However every time I made an amendment and a new submission I get no clarity on what is missing.
What is more irritating is that it feels like I am getting a computer generated response every time because nothing changes in the content of the support representative message other than the name of the person who is replying.
This being said I now understand I can expect 0 support regarding my problem.
All I can conclude from this - how pointless it is to expand to another Amazon marketplace:
you invest, bring products over for FBA, once you take off and things look quite good - be aware, there will be a problem where no one will be able to assist you - the support is absolutely useless when it comes to fixing an issue.
Just a piece of advice consider twice before expanding to a new market, you may be shocked that you are not supported by “support”.

Its true. This is Amazon. Its normal to be replied with a template. Thats how they are trained internally to deal with the enormous amount of requests daily.
