My FBM items are available for sale on international third-party sites. What can I do?

It was recently brought to my attention that my products are listed on some random international sites. Two examples are ninthavenue.ie and ubuy.com.lb. All orders from my Amazon store are packaged and shipped personally by me, and I don't ship anything internationally. Are these known scam sites? Is there anything I can do? Anyone have any idea what happens if these are legitimate sites and someone buys from them? I'm confused.

Sounds like drop-shippers. I used to have this issue on eBay for my FBA listings but there weren't many sales that I know of, as the prices were far too high.

I'd be worried about the drop shipper applying for a refund or claiming other problems, as well as issues relating to international shipping ... for this reason you may want to disable international orders in your FBM shipping templates. Not sure there's anything else you can do ... There is no authority who will investigate or take action, and Amazon doesn't look into other websites unless large-scale fraud is involved.

Hello @Seller_h0JXAOSaMIWV0,

My name is Dougal from the Community Manager Team and while I cannot comment or provide any guidance outside of Amazon policy, procedure and/or resources, I do recognize this is a difficult situation you find yourself in. Hopefully some more sellers find this post and can offer some help.

In the interim, it may be worth going to those sites to try and determine if they have a reporting policy or workflow. Especially if you have a TM in that country and there is infringement.

Best, Dougal

They are buying from you on Amazon and then resell on other platforms. This happens also to my products worldwide. For me, that is no problem. A sale is a sale and that means money for me.

I found almost all my products, along with exact images and verbiage, listed at high prices on a Russian site. After some investigation, the reality is that they are scraping information from nearly every Amazon seller, posting it there, and waiting for a random customer who ignores that they are a scammy Russian site. So, when the customer makes their purchase there, they never get the product, and they have no way to get their money back and nobody to complain to since it's an illegal Russian site hosted on an unregulated server.

They are called Scrapers. They list YOUR inventory as their own with a markup in price. When someone orders from them, they order it from you and ship it to their customer

Fake sites. You can contact them and threaten them and they will take down.

They never plan on shipping, just waiting for a sucker.

ubuy.com.lb is a site for Lebanese to shop for International products. They receive the order, place an order with you that is shipped to a freight forwarder. Orders are then consolidated and shipped overseas. We get a few orders every month from some of these sites selling in the middle east.

There is no need to really worry about these sites. They accept orders from their customers, order from you and have the item shipped to a freight forwarding company in the US. At that point, it is marked delivered by Amazon. It is usually weeks later when it finally gets to the customer. I have never had a return request or even an inquiry from these international customers.
