Stock Rotation

Hi All

I currently have a product that sells quite well under FBM. I would like to convert it to FBA. Although I would need the older stock to sell out first, obviously replenishing in time to keep sales going. Does any one know how this can be achieved. The product does not have a sell by or use by date. Hope I am making sense.

Yes, you are making sense but the bad news is that Amazon don't follow any stock rotation rules whatsoever.

Orders are fulfilled from the customer's nearest fulfilment centre or whichever one Amazon chooses. Even stock within an individual FC are not picked in any sort of date order.

It's pot luck.

You could use a new SKU with every batch and make it inactive until the older SKU is used up but it's a messy strategy and won't help in customers getting the best service.
