Royal Mail tracking: is that reliable
Hello,
I manufacture and sell items on amazon, and I have Bristish customers. I ship tracked from France. However, it seems that the information provided by Track and Trace is not reliable… Customers do receive the items, but the tracking stops before that, one time out of five: at Heathrow Worlwide DC, at the delivery Post Office, or somewhere in between.
One out of five is not tracked and marked delivered, though they all are delivered.
Is that common?
Do you think that my stickers with the tracking info get loose? They are the same that I use in other postal services, though…
What else?
Thank you in advance for your answers.

One simple step which may help is to put a big sticker on the parcel saying ‘POSTIE PLEASE SCAN THIS ITEM ON DELIVERY’ the problem is that these days may parcel have so much information on them that it is difficult to work out which items actually need scanning by the postie and which are for internal scanning as part of the internal manufacturing distribution system.

Ive had parcels come back from germany where the postman is not able to scan as the barcode is faded. He plays around and no luck then hands it to us.
This may be the issue that by the delivery point in uk its faded and cant be scanned
