How do separate amazon sellers account from my amazon.com / primes account

I just started my amazon sellers account and didn't realize the login is the same for my old amazon prime account. How do I create a separate user / password for the two accounts. I notice if I chance the login email in one account it changes it in the other one too. Thank you

You can't change it; those accounts are linked. The seller account will always have an associated buyer account.

What you CAN do (and I recommend), is create another buyer account to use for personal use; reserve the current account for your business needs (Amazon can be a good place to buy things like shipping boxes, labels, etc.)

I think it is possible to set up Prime to share across all of your buyer accounts, but I'm not quite sure how that works. Or you can just get Prime on the new account when your subscription runs out on the current one.

Hello @Seller_1zhwDhMLyTJxZ,

Thank you for reaching out. I wanted to see if you had any additional questions? From what @Seller_nRFmxiQg4EGrw, has posted is correct. Your buyer and seller account are linked. However, you are more than welcome to open an additional buyers account.

Please let me know if you have any additional questions.

Cheers,

Micah
