Won't accept my phone number
The number I used to use for my seller account is long gone, so I am changing it, but it will not accept my number because it's already in use for my personal amazon retail account. Anyway around this? I don't need two phones!

Do you mean it is in use for a second selling account that is individual rather than professional selling account? If so you'll be breaking Amazon policy by having two accounts but I think you're saying it is related to a buying account.
If you do mean the number is associated with an Amazon buyer account, it is unlikely that is the issue. I have Seller Central, an Amazon business and Amazon personal accounts all on the same phone and get alerts from them all.
