Temporary Account Review
Hi. I started selling on Amazon 5 weeks ago. My account was placed under temporary review back then and I have sent multiple emails with all the evidence they need to unlock it including proof of all orders delivering with photos and numbers and everything. I really need help because I need to pay my employees and my medical bills for my pregnant wife😭. I really want to keep selling, but I used all my money already and almost every dollar I have is invested in this and I have no more capital to continue selling. Can someone please assist? Thank you. @Stevie_Amazon

That's unfortunate, but Amazon doesn't care about your payroll and bills. Did they tell you why they are reviewing your account?

Add On: This was the email I receive. Can someone please help😭 Thank you
Your Amazon seller account has been placed under temporary review. This review period will provide us time to confirm delivery of your recent seller-fulfilled orders. The review period should not exceed 30 days, but we will inform you if additional time is required for your temporary review. While your account is under review, funds will remain in your account, but you will not be able to receive any disbursements during the review period.

Hey Emet. Do you think you can help me with this? Thank you so much

When I first started selling on Amazon, I was also put under a review period. My understanding is that this is standard for new sellers to make sure they are actually delivering legitimate items to customers. I believe there may be a difference in time for the review depending upon the seller, but I think my review period was either 30 or 45 days.

If your account is under review they are delaying until all orders you ship are verified delivered and all bank accounts and information line up. Usually takes a month or so.
there is no quicker solution to get your money other then waiting for that time period.

How many did you sell in 5 weeks to cover your medical bills?
I think I sold 1, with no reviews in my first 5 weeks. . Sometimes if you're new, & get several sales & reviews, they might assume there is some manipulation going on. Did you sell that many, to have them look into this under a microscope.
Make sure this isn't the case. Good luck, if you're on the up & up, all will be OK. If not, try to make some changes, cause they will find it.

Amazon is going to hold your funds for up to 90-120 days anyway to cover returns, chargebacks, etc. Even if your account was not under review you would not have access to most of your funds and that is going forward also.

this hahappened To me too in the beginning of my amazon journey thru hell. Lol. I couldn't do anything but wait it out. Took 3 months! All that too find nothing and end the review with zero explanation till this day! Just another thing amazon forces you to deal with. The gurus online selliing courses & books don't tell you the whole truth. You only find out when you start trying to sell.

Amazon treats emails the same as being placed on hold with a telephone. Every new one sent is like hanging up and starting all over at the end of the line.
Only respond once and wait is the best action. Some sellers send a new one every day and never move from the end of the line. Could be Amazon has simply not received your information. Jeff Bezos designed it that way, so the impatient seller never gets anywhere.
Don't worry about your employees. Simply lay them off with a temporary shut down and let them collect Unemployment Insurance from your Workman's Comp Account. Hopefully, your company has a good medical plan and you are on the Family Plan Benefit. That should cover just about everything as far as your wife is concerned.

As a second thought, not sure why your username is a string on numerals and letters with no meaning. Is that the name you display to potential buyers? If it is, consider changing it to something simple a potential buyer can remember.

"The email I received was this. I believe it was from a sales spike. I first started selling and sold hundreds of orders."
This is normal, it is called a Velocity Review. When we started over 10 years ago we had one too. I think ours took 30-45 days to show we were not gaming the system. We just sold and kept shipping orders.
The funds were released, we have been sent funds every two weeks since then.
Just "Life on the River" you need to understand and wait.
As it relates to team members and family, I appreciate that, it must be hard. Nothing you can do to change the way Amazon works. For us, Amazon was a new channel, we had other revenue streams to pay the bills. We also practiced Multi-Channel Marketing selling on our own websites and other eCommerce venues before we started with Amazon.
Something to thing about.
