Ungated for brand and now gated

Hello.

I have been ungated for this brand for 4+ years. This morning, I got an email saying that "you will need approval to list the affected products" and now all of my listings are inactive and everything says apply to sell in add a product. Has anyone else gotten this today? If so, what should we do?

Thanks.

It's what is happening. Brands are pulling back on 3rd party sellers.

It's likely you've confused being ungated by Amazon with having permission from the brand to sell their items. Welcome to the new Amazon.

From your handle and store name, I take it you've been selling major brand (Nike?) sneakers. You've been caught up in the major sweep to do away with third party sellers for those brands. It really was only a matter of time.

There is nothing you can do. If you apply to sell Amazon will likely ask for a Letter of Authorization from the brand and invoices (not receipts), neither of which I'm assuming you possess.

You should probably count yourself lucky that you received an email from Amazon rather than an IP infringement from the brand.
