Trademarks - IP Accelerator vs Self Register

Hi there,

I am ready to register my brands trademark, I wanted to see other sellers opinions on doing this either with Amazon through Brand Registry vs doing an application myself through gov website.

Anything I should be aware of?

Thanks :grinning:

The IP accelerator programme obviously costs more than doing it yourself

through the accelerator programme, you can register on the brand registry programme quicker - with a pending trademark however there’s also this small print you need to look out for so it’s not guaranteed

What happens if my trademark application filed via IP Accelerator is denied?

We regularly monitor the status of trademark applications filed via IP Accelerator. If your application is denied, then you will no longer have access to the brand protection features for that trademark application.

It’s really quick, cheap and easy to do it on the gov website. You will have to wait 3 months for any objections though.
