How to fix suspicious order Pending Payment Verification problem

At the time of writing, I have 42 pending orders, all of which are awaiting payment verification. 6 of them are over 21 days old. The suspicious part is that 14 completely different orders were made for the same ASIN causing me to run out of stock. It's impossible that 14 different people purchased the exact same ASIN and all of them have payment verification issues. This looks like competitor fraud. I contacted seller support and after being bounced around I was told that there was nothing they could do. This must be escalated. Case ID 15776283111

There is nothing to fix, that is just the way it is. 42 in pending sure sounds like a competitor attacking your account. ?When placed in pending status, they are deducted from your inventory and held in limbo for weeks.

If no payment is received, they simply drop off, BUT, are not placed back in inventory. you have to do that manually.

We also had this issue with upwards of 200 orders due to a competitor. For us, we put a limit of 10, and increased inventory to 9999. This allowed the "BOT" they were using to order 10 at a time every 5 minutes which as you can tell, would take a couple days. So every morning I would just add 9999 more to make sure the listing could still get purchased. 1 order slipped up and went through and we were able to identify the buyer as a dealer of 3 amazon stores selling the exact same items under different ASINs.

Sellers should have option after 24hrs to cancel and automatically relist item with zero affect. SO STUPID amazon allows inventory to be basically put on hold for up to a month and only really we can see Amazon does this is because FBA they can get another month of storage fees out of all y'all sellers who still FBA!
