lost items FBM in transit who is responsible?

Hi, i have had someone reach out and report that an item that they purchased was lost in transit by hermes, this shows on the tracking also that this is missing, is this Amazons responsability/ hermes or myself to refund the item?

its your responsibility. You would then need to claim from the courier if this is possible based on the service you chose.
