Issues with Amazon

HI

Im reading a lot of posts with issues regarding things like Amazon losing stock, Amazon deducting huge amounts and business not knowing what it's for? I am looking at changing over to FBA, but I'm really concerned about all the issues. Support also seems non existent.

Just my two cents. 9 out 10 people on here complaining about Amazon fees, getting deactivated, getting charged the wrong fees really have no idea what they are doing on here. They didn't study seller University and just thought oh hey I have been FBM for years going FBA will be easy.

IT'S NOT.

I was on the edge last year but decided to finally make the jump to FBA after 10 years selling on here. It was a little confusing, and I made a few mistakes BUT I had my best year ever in sales and net profit.

Make sure you understand ALL the fees because there are a lot.

You have to ask yourself as was my case, are the fees worth it compared to all the time you'll save packing and shipping your items yourself.

For me it was big yes. Now instead of manually packing and shipping each order one by one. I do it about once a month and send in my inventory to Amazon and they ship it for me. I love all the free extra time I have. so the fees are worth it for me.

And as I said it was my best year in sales in the 10 years I have been selling.

Has Amazon screwed up since I started FBA, of course but that comes with the territory.

Good luck!!

Been with amazon a long time sad. I,ve reached the breaking point. getting blamed for usps slow on orders and charged shipping twice when customer has billed is too much. Sad always did proper procedures.

Take the time to read as many posts as possible about FBA horror stories. The fees are big, it all depends on if you have a very high profit margin to begin with. While some have had a positive experience, most have not and have ultimately left the platform. The FBA rules and policies have become very bad more recently so make sure to do your due diligence. I tried FBA some time ago when they were promoting it heavily with big discounts and I still lost money and inventory.

You can do everything by the book perfectly and you will still have major problems with FBA, just read all the articles on and off Amazon to see for yourself.
