Need help creating new parent ASIN

I deleted my parent ASIN because I need to change the variation type for the two variations (now stand alone listings) I have from 'number of items' to 'sizes'.

I understand the variation wizard tool is the best way to do this, although the instructions aren't clear to me.

1) How do I download the appropriate category template for my category using the Product Classifier or Templates for Specific Categories?

If someone can please clarify further the exact steps for creating the new parent ASIN, that would be extremely helpful!
