Verification account

Hello,

I’m trying to setup my store for Uk markets only and keep getting an error message to verify my card in the global market places. How do I switch these off? I want to unlink my cards to everywhere else but the Uk, is this possible and how do I do it?

I have also been billed £30 for stock by Amazon - any idea what this is for? I haven’t purchased anything so wonder what this is for?

it seems that you opened a global account so you will need to provide card details for all marketplaces, whether or not you plan to use them.

The £30 is likely to be the professional selling plan fee which you chose on registration. If you don’t want to pay it, go to your settings and downgrade to the individual plan then raise a case with seller support asking them to refund what you have paid.

£30 is the European fee so maybe you didn’t open a global account, just a UK/EU account, this is correct if you only want to sell in UK.

Also, in addition to above advice, if you only want to sell in UK you need to ensure that all the other marketplaces are placed on holiday settings, so you do not get orders from outside UK.

As a new seller, I suggest you read thoroughly Amazon's own 'Seller University.'
