Your Reserve Policy – Delivery Date + 14 Days (DD+14)

Your Reserve Policy – Delivery Date + 14 Days (DD+14)

Dear Seller,

Your sales proceeds will be delayed while we are reviewing your account. Starting today, the reserve period for all of your orders will be 14 days after the delivery date. For example, if you ship an item on January 1, and the actual delivery date is January 4, then the sales proceeds will be available for disbursement starting on January 19.

I received a new notification.

What does it mean?

Is my account being verified again?

10 days ago I verified my account via video call.

Have my payments been stopped?

Not stopped, but Amazon is holding them a bit longer than before. Apparently they feel a bit uneasy about your account; not enough to suspend or even warn you, but want to make sure that they are covered.

Once they finish reviewing your account, things will eventually get back to normal (assuming, of course, that they find nothing wrong). But most sellers have at least a bit of a reserve, even after years.
