from memory that metric was never one that actually counted towards anything, it was just there more as an awareness thing.
I believe various policy pages still state you should respond to messages in 48 hours, but I think he countdown clock on messages themselves states 24 hours as a countdown.
So as usual, another crystal clear amazon system.
