Account deactivated after submitting Evidence of UTR
Afternoon. Having attempted to open an account for several months and constantly hitting hurdles and amazon requests for documents.
I have been trying to open an account to sell on Amazon handmade as a sole trader as I am not a limited company.
I submitted a power of atourny letter as I had read was the correct thing to do which then got rejected. I was advised that I needed to submit a copy of my UTR number by was of a self assessment tax return which I then did.
However skip forward 2 days and I received a notification that my account was deactivated.
All the information provided was legitimate and I believe I have submitted all the required information but when I used the call me now section under account health and asked for some advice as to what I had done wrong and as a new seller if I could get some guidance the Amazon support worker just hung up the phone.
As somebody new to amazon but having sold on other platforms I don't understand why the process is so hard and amazon gives very little or ambiguous guidance as to how to navigate account opening.
Ive had easier mortgage applications!
can anyone shed dome light as to what I might have done wrong and if I can get the account reactivated or can I now never sell on Amazon for a reason I will never know?
