Acc deactivated because of fake itens

Case ID ID 16559900651

I am writing to address the situation regarding the deactivation of my account, which has been inactive for nearly one month. This action appears to be a result of a single customer claiming that one of my items is not authentic. I would like to clarify that I have never encountered a similar issue before and i tried the best for solve it with customer, for us, bastos LLC, buyer experience is the most valuable think.

In my efforts to resolve this matter, I have conducted extensive research and have contacted Amazon agents multiple times for clarification. I have submitted several appeals; however, they have been rejected.

To support my case, I am providing four original documents that demonstrate the authenticity of my product. These documents include all relevant information, proof of delivery, proof of payment, and invoices that correspond with the details in my account and address. Also i would like to explain we only sold almost 10 kits of Makita, and the invoice reflect last 365 days in sales, thats why i had only one invoice, i got only 10 kits with 2 units ea . Please note that we exclusively source our products from official dealers.

I kindly ask that you review the attached documents, as I have corrected some issues in the previous submissions, and I have been informed that they are now acceptable.

I appreciate your assistance in resolving this matter and restoring my account. Thank you for your attention to this issue.

Um, that's not how you source products for resale; you source them from authorized DISTRIBUTORS. The fact that there are "official dealers" should be an indication that the dealers are restricted to some extent. You need permission FROM THE BRAND to sell their items on Amazon; buying from an "official dealer" is not sufficient for purposes of proving authenticity on Amazon (especially true if you are selling the items as "New", as Makita warranties are from the date of ORIGINAL purchase; which if you are buying retail, means that it starts when YOU make the purchase; so the person you sell it to has at best a shortened warranty, if they can get warranty service at all).

Hello @Seller_ZDtRycRNhhUac,

I understand how confusing and frustrating the appeal process can be. Thank you for providing the case ID. With that information and the assistance of an internal team, I was able to review your information.

I see your last appeal is still in progress, is this correct?

Please review these help pages: Responsible Sourcing documentation request requirements and Invoice requirements for appealing a policy violation

Invoice requirements: Invoices must include:

  • A clearly displayed issue date within the past 365 days before the receipt of the performance notification.
  • Quantity sufficient to cover your sales volumes for each ASIN cited in the performance notification over the past 365 days.
  • Sales records for each of the ASIN associated with the policy violation. You may choose to highlight the specific product that you are appealing for, if the invoice has multiple different products bought on it.
  • Product identifiers that are easy to understand. These can include product name, model number, or Universal Product Code (UPC) that can be validated online.
  • Contact information of your supplier, including a name, phone number, address, and website. We won’t I share this information with our retail team or other Amazon sellers.

I do not have insight into the appeals team or the time frame for their reviews. I am interested in the final results, so please do reach out after you hear back.

@Seller_nRFmxiQg4EGrw has offered some relevant information. You should always make sure your suppliers truly do have authority to source you products for resale.

I look forward to your response. Thank you for reaching out on the Forums.

All Amazon wants to see is your Makita USA invoice showing you have a commercial retailers account with them. Makita has 3 distribution centers in the USA and your invoice will have one of these addresses on the invoice, as well as your Makita Reps name and phone number. Amazon will contact the Rep, and things will be straightened out rather quickly.

OP: "Please note that we exclusively source our products from official dealers"

Now that sounds lie you are not actually purchasing wholesale from Makita, but a secondary distributor, that Amazon will not except. The reason is, these so-called wholesale distributor companies are actually selling retail to anyone with cash, often mix, damaged, reconditioned, and bogus stock in their inventory.

Lately, there is great attention paid to these kinds of items that are regularly stolen from stores. You mentioned dealers, which I assume is a store, the receipts will not work.

I had the same issue with an item that is very exclusive to purchase. I provided piles of back up documentation and response is always "need more info". It is so frustrating that one person complains and my account that goes back to 2008 gets deactivated. I wish I could speak to an actual human that isn't just reading from a screen.

I have the same issue. I am a car dealership and sell genuine OEM auto parts that we get from our manufacturer. We had a customer say it was not authentic and after several submissions of invoices from the "MANUFACTURER", it was still rejected. We have had enough of Amazon and decided to go ahead and get out of the business after 6 years but now my account is still stuck open from an A to Z claim 10 month ago where Amazon owes us money. Ironic! And after speaking with seller support trying to get this sorted out so we can officially close our account, I get put on hold for 30 minutes and it disconnects every time. Nothing but frustration, so I understand your complaint.
