Promo Code Showing on Listing

Hi there,

I have set up a promo code which is in a magazine. I only want people who have the code from the magazine to be able to use it but it is showing on the product page for everyone to see.

Any idea how i can change it so the customer has to enter it at the checkout?

Thanks,
Nikki

It’s not clear from the post how this is setup but promotional codes are a prohibited content;

Detail pages may not feature or contain Prohibited Content or Restricted Products.
The inclusion of any of the following information in detail page titles, descriptions, bullet points or images is prohibited:

Advertisements, promotional material or watermarks on images, photos or videos.

Things to avoid
Product titles

Marketing information, promotions or any other information that is not descriptive of the product itself (e.g.: “x% off”, marketing messages, seller URL or seller name in the title)

Hi go to the mange promotions page and select manage promotions then select edit promotion and scroll down to step 3 and expand Customise messaging, untick Detail page display text. This should remove the promotion from being viewed on the Amazon product page
