Seller account Inactive pending additional documentation to verify account
Hello,
Reaching out for some advice from co-sellers as we are out of solutions for how to proceed with an issue we are having.
On the 25th October 2023, we received a performance notification titled: "[Action Required] Information required for your Selling on Amazon payment account". Within which Amazon asked us to provide a series of documents needed to verify our account. Since then, we have provided several iterations of requested documents, each time verified by our owning company's legal team and in their opinion sufficient to meet the requirements requested by Amazon - however to no avail.
As I write today 19th March 2024, our account is still suspended whilst Amazon reviews our latest documentation provided on 8th March 2024.
I count 7 submissions and rejections thus far, with the most recent being our 8th.
Initial rejections were accompanied with the comments: "Why has this happened? The organizational chart you submit does not cover the entire company structure and does not represent the ownership shares of the beneficial owners."
However, the most recent rejection only commented: "Why has this happened? The organizational chart you submitted does not include the entire company structure."
So we seem to have resolved the "not representing the ownership shares of beneficial owners" part. But the documents we have provided 100% does include the entire company structure. We have even shared the register certificates of all connected companies.
Can anyone offer any advice for how to get more detail out of Amazon as to what they find unsatisfactory in our document submissions?
Whenever we ask for more clarity on why they have been rejected we receive the same initial criteria again. We have asked for a phone call to discuss the topic and connect our legal team to the case handling team, but unsurprisingly this has not happened.
We have followed the guidance to provide an example ownership structure that follows this format: https://m.media-amazon.com/images/G/01/EPSDocumentation/AmazonPay/ownership_structure/English_OSS_example.pdf
We're approaching 5 months of inactive account status now and are all at a loss for how to resolve this with Amazon.
Any advice is welcomed!
Thank you
Greg

Hello @Seller_KiLNJy3nA3RJL
Thanks for your post. My name's Oliver and I hope I can help you reactivate your seller account.
You explain you received several requests to submit documents for your company and then of the organizational structure which were always rejected.
I can't see the documents, but want to give you general advice on what to check:
- check that the documents you submit match exactly with the data in Seller Central (both on the Payment Information and Business Information)
- the information you provide in the documents and organizational structure will be checked by Amazon on official registers so make sure those registers are up to date. If you find a mismatch, try to correct it and then inform of where and what you corrected and why there was the mismatch.
The important help page to check is "Required information to sell on Amazon"
I hope I could clear you're doubts and you know how to move forward.
Feel free to let us know how it went.
Have a good day
Oliver
