After the the buyer receives the items, he or she A to Z claims for a refund.

I really disappointed about this service.

and what kind of proof are you supplying of delivery?

It’s been assumed that to have any chance of winning an a-z you need a signature and using buy shipping should in theory prevent any ODR impact, but in honesty it does feel a bit of a lottery.

Best thing to do is treat it like shop lifting and price for a percentage of losses.

Had a similar problem twice, all of our orders are trackable, showed as delivered in address provided, with photos etc, buyer opened A to Z claims and they have the money back (and I think the items too). Amazon did not do anything about

I agree with you, i recently had an AtoZ against me, the parcel was GPS tracked to the property and the courier provided a photo of my parcel being handed to the recipient in the door way of the property. The AtoZ against me was upheld, i appealed and the decision was still against me..... it seems that the customer is always right and an easy decision to give someone else's (the sellers) money away !!!!!

I agree the A-Z claim does not rotect us as a seller.

i have been scammed out of lots of money due to Amazon just refunding the customer - in one instance i called the customer to discuss the £1499 claim refund he received and he logged item was damaged when arrived - the pictures show boxes perfect .

it was 2 laptops and the customer got his money and the machines.. i now do not list my high end products on Amazon any more due to them never helping the seller

I have had the same thing, the buyer has had all 8 purchases refunded 4 by us, and then 4 by A-Z as I wouldn't give in to them as I realized they weren't being honest . I just keep reporting them, and providing evidence in the A-Z claims. Every time I report hem they say they they will investigate, but cant tell me the outcome. Haven't had another order from them in a few weeks so im hopeful that Amazon have done something. Although the customer messaged this morning saying they had no money and could I send them something for free...I reported that too.

If its any help ive had a little bit of success with fighting these claims, albeit after the fact of the customer having their money back. But the way i am doing it is filing an appeal. Linking all of the tracking information including a link to the website where it can be viewed

The very last sentence i end with is

"if Amazon cannot refund our money back to us and remove this defect then please send details of where we can send legal letters to Amazon so we can go to court to recover the money that they gave back to the customer"

So far im 4/4 removed defects and our money back from amazon

I have been lucky enough to receive this message to an A-Z a couple of times.

'This One Is on Us! You have a strong track record of shipping products on time, in the condition described and making it right for customers if something goes wrong. In appreciation of your customer obsession, Amazon provided a refund to the customer on this occasion as an exception to our policies. Under normal circumstances, you would be responsible for the refund and this claim would have impacted your Order Defect Rate. To find out more about the A-to-z Guarantee and how to avoid claims in the future, go to the A-to-z Guarantee Claims help page.'

The bot must have been in a good mood. Usually the response is equivalent to go F yourself...

Considering that most resellers face the same issue, which not only hasn't been addressed but is in fact, encouraged by making the refund process as easy as possible, in spite of the obvious delivery evidences in most cases, , this issue keeps on increasing every year and soon will be out of control, at least for the sellers who seem to have no protection whatsoever.

Yes, me too it has happened a lot of times, with track and signature, Amazon in 95% gives the right to the buyer, Amazon needs the buyer more than the seller, this is the truth. The best way to reduce this issue is to send your inventory as an FBA.
