Restricted Products Policy Violations

Hi All

I recently discovered that one of my product listings has been removed from Amazon without any email notification. The only reason why I found it is I logged in to Seller Central to track FBA inventory due for collection today. Upon logging into Seller Central, I noticed that the reason provided for the listing closure is “Restricted Products Policy Violations,” but it lacks clear details.

Has anyone else had this issue before and how did they overcome it? I have asked Amazon for further clarity so that I can provide evidence of compliance.

The product is a toy gum aimed at 14+ years old and does not mimic the look of any real gun.

is there anything on the listing to say other ages?

we have some 14+ products which also have a “not for ages under 3” on them,
which is obviously present on many products that arent even toys - but sometimes amazon take that to mean it is ok for ages 3+ and not the 14+ detailed elsewhere

daft question - but why is it a ‘toy’ gun if its aimed at over 14 year olds ?!
