… and if you run OOS before that set a restock date per each listing so as to keep them active and, if you receive orders in the meantime while waiting for the new stock, you will be able to fulfill these from the date you set for your listings to be restocked.

With the restock date, we were always under the impression that it had to be within 30 days.
However we are seeing many products with restock dates much later, in July for example (these are individual sellers, not Amazon).
Have the rules changed? We are sold out of a lot of products, but have lots on order with guaranteed delivery dates, so can we put a restock date over 30 days?

For this even to be an issue, the OP must be listing quantities of stock that he doesn’t actually have!

If you have variations e.g. colours and expect to go OOS then increase your price slightly to try and incentivise customers to buy other colours.

Even if you still get purchases on your low stock item at least you make a bit more money.

Business acumen is keenness and quickness in understanding and dealing with a “business situation” in a manner that is likely to lead to a good outcome. Additionally, business acumen has emerged as a vehicle for improving financial performance and leadership development.
