Shipment to FBA | Clarification question TAXES and return costs

Hello,

I have a question regarding taxes and return costs when using Amazon FBA services.

First of all about the taxes - we are EU registered company (VAT payer in our country), we have obtained German VAT number for FBA purposes. My question is about the shipment to FBA with VAT rate and process overall.

We sending goods to Germany (Amazon warehouse) so the products are being sent to this warehouse with 0% VAT rate, am I right? Once item is sold on Amazon.de marketplace - German country VAT is applied to sold item which is 19%.

So my main question how from tax point of view it's done correctly?

My EU warehouse ---> Amazon.de warehouse (Invoice is issued with 0% VAT rate - and this action is categorized as internal stock movement between our structural units).

Can someone clarify this question for me please?

2. How about return costs - once client returns FBA shipment back.

So, I know that Amazon takes their selling fees + packaging cost once item is sold to the client via FBA. Is there any additional fees to that - such as delivery and etc? Or in those packaging fees - shipping is included?

How about returns? How much does Amazon charges for FBA shipment return?

I would appreciate if someone can clarify those questions for me, so I can fully understand the whole situation with Amazon FBA services.

Kind regards,

Antons
