Amazon "Outage"?

On Friday eveneing I noticed zero sales between 4.30pm and 10pm, I checked our account was still active and all looked fine. On Saturday 22 orders had appeared and I assumed all was well. We processed 16 Prime orders on the saturday but yesterday i noticed we have missed 6 Prime orders which had failed to import to our fulfilment software all sold on the Friday evening.

The Fulfilment software company are working on importing the missed orders and inform me many of their clients reported the same issue which they are blaming on an Amazon “outage”.

Has anyone else expeirience the issue on Friday evening?

Yes, I don’t do AFP, (so consequences less serious for me) but all my orders on Friday from around 4 to midnight were not uploaded to RM C&D

Same here - a few orders from that time failed to drop into C&D and had to be manually transferred over. That’s the first time I’ve had that happen with Amazon in about 3 years.

It was 8 for us (out of about 100). Not the end of the world once we realised what was going on.

I could see sales in emails and see on the app that sales had taken place (e.g. items closed in inventory) but had no access to customer details including addresses to send to. Tried logging it with SS, but this was mostly done at the level of a bot setting up a case number now. The outage seems to be over now.

There was certainly an outage on Friday started late afternoon and going well on to the night. The outage affected Amazon Web Services so an software that used those to download orders wouldn’t have been able to do so at the time. Fortunately we spotted first thing Saturday morning and were able to back date our downloads

Amazon are very quick to tell us when we are not doing things correctly.

They are not quite so quick to tell us when they are doings things wrong or have system issues.

We all have to scramble on here and pick apart what is happening.

Phoned seller support, complete and utter waste of time.

Amazon - one of the worlds richest companies - shame some of that money doesnt filter down to supporting sellers!

It is pretty shocking the first I know about this is seeing unfulfilled “late” orders on SS this morning… so time to check the forums to see what is going on!

Orders that were placed on Friday but obviously didn’t reach C&D

To be honest my first reaction was that it must have been the RM system that messed up!

Is it possible it waslinked to https://sellercentral.amazon.co.uk/forums/t/orders-emailed-through-but-not-showing-on-seller-central/511384 ?

This was a glitch whereby orders where not going into SS for a few hours.
