A-to-Z Claim seller funded
A buyer opened an A-to-Z claim and they said they didn't get the package. I sent the package with Amazon buy shipping, the package was sent out on the day it was supposed to go out and it was delivereed within the delivery window (2 days earlier than the latest delivery day).
We were very quick to respond to any buyer messages and we told them to open a case and Amazon will review it. Well they did, and I just got an email from Amazon that they are taking the funds out of out account for this refund. Why!?!!??!!?!?!?!

I just appealed but figured I would write here to try and figure out why Amazon would take the funds out of our account for this.

Most common reason is that the delivery was not "scanned as accepted" by the carrier, was it?

Did Amazon take the funds from your account? I've noticed that sometimes Amazon funds the claim, but the legend "funded by seller" is incorrectly used in their cookie-cutter responses.

I just had the exact same thing happen. A to z claim written by customer support says that because the tracking shows that it was delivered to the customer it won’t be held against my account but then I lose the claim and appeal due to INSUFFICIENT EVIDENCE?!?
Amazon seller support is an absolute joke.

I am dealing with a similar situation. The package shows delivered but client says did not receive. I bought postage from Amazon and the shipping record even shows a green "Claims Protection" label. I have not received an A-Z claim yet, but apparently this "protection" means that Amazon will fund the A-Z.
Did your purchase show that "Claim Protection" label?

Total BS that sellers have to deal with this crap as this is covered by Amazon yet they play games causing seller stress and PTSD! Every time they do stuff like this or Safe-T not following any policy and denying claims we make it a point to spend more time shifting items to other markets as we all know customers will follow where the product is in the long run!

Yep, another here. I opened a case yesterday for the same situation. Case #16030299211 if a mod wants to have a look. It says it was tranferred.
