German tax declaration
Our German account was blocked a few weeks ago. We’re from the US, we store inventory in the UK and sell FBA from the UK to other parts of Europe. We sold ~4,000 euros into Germany last year. I filled out the Amazon German tax declaration, acknowledging the declaration (that we don’t sell over 100,000 Euros per year yet). Do you know how long it takes for this to get resolved? I already contacted Amazon seller support and they said they escalated the case, but how long do we need to wait until our account gets restored in Germany?
Also, what’s strange is that all our products (our own brand) are still for sale in Germany. Amazon is the seller now instead of us. They’re charging about 20% to 25% higher than I was charging. How does this work? Are they selling my products and shipping from my UK inventory? Do they ring up under my UK seller central account?
This must be the case. We just noticed a ton of orders from “Amazon World Imports” starting on the date our German account was suspended.

No, no one even knows if Amazon will accept that declaration, let alone how long it takes to get it accepted.
Brexit has added to the confusion enormously, as the terms of exit may affect the implementation for UK sellers anyway.

Have you submitted the declaration form through your account?
This is the official one:

Amazon are buying it from your UK stock to sell to Germany to cover the gap. They charge xtra as they have to ship from UK to Germany and also includes other costs. We get loads of sales from AWI.

Latest in Seller Central Notifications (I read this notification as we now have until 01st October 2019) -
German tax obligations
29 Mar 2019
Amazon must obtain a tax certificate from sellers who are required to be tax registered in Germany, or a formal acknowledgment that they are not generating any taxable sales in Germany, according to the amendments in the German VAT Code (Sec. 22f UStG).
All sellers should take action now.
If you are required to be German tax registered, upload your German tax certificate (F22). If you are not required to be German tax registered, you must acknowledge the declaration that you are not generating taxable sales in Germany.
Sellers based outside of the European Economic Area who fail to comply will no longer be able to sell on amazon.de or to customers in Germany. Sellers based in a European Economic Area country (including Germany) must take action before October 1, 2019.
To learn more about the legislation, see sample images of the correct documents required and review other FAQ, visit Comply with your new German tax obligations.

If your company is based outside Europe and you keep stock in any European country you need to be VAT registered in all countries you sell to no matter what your turnover is, the thresholds don’t apply to you.
If you are not vat registered and paying vat then you will not be reinstated and amazon should not be buying stock from you.
See point 2.2 on this page https://services.amazon.co.uk/services/fulfilment-by-amazon/vat-faq.html

Sorry - have just seen Kika’s earlier answer that there isn’t a declaration for EU sellers.
I’m a bit confused by recent notification which says that all sellers must take action, but EU sellers have until October 1st. Does that mean that EU sellers respond as “I do not acknowledge the declaration” as it doesn’t apply to us, or do we just ignore it and wait until October?

I have already submitted the declaration that my sale is less than 100000 euros and i ship from non EU country as an individual seller but still my account is inactive and its been more than 24 hrs there is no response from seller support.I guess they are also confused what to do with these accounts.
