Hello! I just created an account and I have been trying for days to verify my bank account after I have changed my buisness plan from professional plan to individual plan, but I saw in my bank account that amazon withdrowed 512,50 SEK (Swedish currency)!

I didnt list anything or any items and I didnt sell anything, I didnt start selling! I didnt wanna start with this plan and I have changed it before I try to verify bank account! I got always a message that Amazon will take 1 SEK for the verification and even this 1 SEK will not be taken from my bank account, it's just for testing the verification but now Amazon took 512,50!

the informations on the internet says that amazon will NOT deduct any money while I'm creating the account!

Have anyone experienced the same situation before?

You would be better perhaps to ask on the Swedish forum as it might vary from uk. When you open an account and sign up for the Professional plan (fee charging) then Amazon take the first monthly payment immediately. Once you are verified completely you can ask for a refund so long as you havent sold anything. I assume you have now downgraded the account to individual to prevent next months payment going out?

Where does it state this information? Because its always been the case that amazon take immediate payment (even though for new sellers they will immediately be verified and might not have an account for a few days!)

It is the case (on UK site at least), that as soon as you click on the orange 'Sign Up' button on the page, they automatically sign you up for the professional plan (you need to read the very small print under the orange button !) and will deduct the fee. You then need to downgrade to individual plan by going to account settings - sell on Amazon, and tick the individual button. ....and then you can claim a refund for the unused fee by contacting Seller Support.
