Account at risk of deactivation because of VTR - Advice please
I post letter sized items within the UK and as I’m no longer allowed to send via my Royal Mail business account, I was informed I needed to add a tracking number to the items I posted. In order to do this I had to now send everything as a large letter via Royal Mail Click and drop, as this included tracking, which I did. Obviously this at a greater cost to me and subsequently my customers. As I sell low value products, this has affected sales dramatically.
This did nothing to alter my VTR and I got the ‘your account is at risk of deactivation’ banner. I was told the tracking number given by Royal Mail wasn’t valid as this doesn’t generate a tracking reference number. So my question is, if I used the Royal Mail Tracked 24/48 service, would this generate the correct tracking reference information to rectify my VTR? If not, could someone please give me my options, bearing in mind the items I sell are customised so I can’t use Amazon FBA.
I have been told in the past that if I purchase postage labels directly from Amazon (which would work out a LOT cheaper for me) then this is exempt from VTR?? Is this the case or have I dreamt it?
Any help would be greatly appreciated,
Dave

even if using Royal Mail 48, the VTR will be under 80% normally as they don’t scan some on delivery.
Amazon however state that they will validate unscanned parcels.
You will still get VTR warnings but they do state they won’t stop you listing in affected categories
You can however use Amazon buy shipping and it will be fine.

Although I do not post Letter size, I believe that now Letter size MUST be bought from Amazon 'Buy Shipping' - Amazon then automatically upload all the shipment info, and confirm shipment, and your VTR will always be perfect ! If it is cheaper then surely that is the way to go ?! - as of course will be cheaper than sending them all LL. Amazon 'Buy shipping' is your answer !

When you say you have a banner saying your account is at risk of deactivation, where do you see that.
Even if your VTR rate is a problem, that wouldn't result in an account suspension/deactivation, it would just be the categories your VTR is failing in being suspended.
If you're seeing a notice about account deactivation, it won't be VTR that's the problem.
Have you checked your identity information to make sure there are no requests? Compliance requests? Is there a notice in your performance notifications?
