How do I add a 1st class post option (0% VTR)
Hi,
I have standard 2nd class shipping on my orders (all sent letter post).
I recently added the 2 day priority shipping to my template. Customers could pay extra for 1st class delivery and many took this option up.
However the option is no longer there after about a week.
I see that I have a 0% valid tracking usage rate and I wondered if that was why the 2 day shipping option had been stopped?
Can I have the VTUR set to N/A to get around this problem?
All postage bought through Amazon.
I have been emailing back and forth all week with Amazon but I'm getting bot replies all with wildly varying responses, none of which help at all.
I'd really appreciate any thoughts? Many thanks.

check if you are actually eligible for Premium Shipping
Can do that on the eligiblity page here

@Seller_PmbqqwGMuOP5b in fact your issue is standard 1st class is not a valid service for premium shipping, so that is your issue.
You either need to use tracked 24/48 or special guaranteed delivery.

Thanks, it does say not eligible but I was assuming that was because my VTR is 0%, but as 1st / 2nd class post have no tracking this will always be 0%.
It seems you are caught in a trap when you use this service because there is no tracking?
I sell low cost greetings cards so it's not viable to use any other service, it's just letter post I need.
So that leaves me not seeing a way around it and I was hoping someone might be able to point out a solution to me that I just can't see?

um…you use the services eligible for premium shipping.
I’m not sure what solution you would be expecting. I would say you may be surprised if you added on more for premium shipping to cover you for the extra cost of a more expensive service. Some people will still pay it.

Hi, as I said, it does say I am not eligible for premium shipping. I am assuming this is due to the 0% VTR but as there is no tracking for 2nd class mail, I don't know how to get around this.
I asked Amazon if they could change the value to N/A but no response.
When I ran the 1st class option, until it was removed, many people were indeed happy to pay the extra so I'd really like to add the option again.

i am not sure if this is a helpful aside or not but Royal Mail tracked 24 is not classed as a premium shipping option for one day or next day delivery, but tracked 24 IS. Royal Mail tracked 48 is not valid for two day shipping but tracked 48 LBT is valid shipping method. Madness, been going on for years...

I sell greeting cards as well
If you are offering a 2 day premium shipping service you should really be using something such as tracked 24 for this.
I use RM guaranteed next day delivery for 1 day shipping and tracked 24 for 2 day shipping and charge premium prices for these services.
Customers do pay the extra for a faster service. With greeting cards you will always get someone who has forgotten an occasion and want something fast.
