Unreasonable operation: Use "Sell Yours on Amazon" to sell children's toys

I have a question. All the toys we sell on Amazon have done CPC test and passed it. But other sellers use "Sell Yours on Amazon" to follow our tested products. If this is allowed, how do you ensure that products sold under "Sell Yours on Amazon" have CPC testing? It is clear that sellers who take advantage of the "Sell Yours on Amazon" feature sell products without CPC testing. We abide by Amazon seller sales policy and spend time and money to do CPC test to ensure the safety of the products sold, but those sellers who use "Sell Yours on Amazon" can continue to sell unsafe products without submitting CPC test report. This is very unreasonable!

Hello @Seller_uImExY35yhyEw

Christine here from Amazon Forums

I'd like to help clarify Amazon's position on this matter. 🤝

📌 Safety compliance is a crucial aspect of selling on Amazon. Let me share some key points that might help:

🔐 All sellers on our platform, regardless of how they list their products, must comply with our safety requirements. While we understand your frustration about the investment you've made in CPC testing, please note that:

  • Each seller is responsible for ensuring their products meet all applicable safety standards
  • Having the same ASIN doesn't automatically verify product compliance
  • We do have systems in place to monitor safety compliance

If you encounter listings that you believe violate our safety requirements, we encourage you to:

🚨 Use the "Report a Violation" tool

📝 Provide specific evidence

📎 Include relevant ASINs and seller information

For your own protection, we recommend:

  • Enrolling in Brand Registry if eligible
  • Maintaining clear documentation of your compliance testing
  • Using our official reporting tools for any specific violations
