Gtin exemption on handmade

can anyone help here please as going slowly crazy trying to sort this out.

I am on amazon handmade just joined and trying to get my listings on and on legally! All of my products are made by myself and therefore i am trying to apply for a Gtin exemption for them.

However when I followed the route amazon says by going on add a product and selecting this link to Gtin exemption it simply isn’t there I just have category selections for my product to choose from and at no further stage can I select gtin exemption.

I have raised several helps with amazon on this but they either don't reply to the question correctly or just send me the link to the seller university how to apply for a Gtin exemption which follows the route as above and doesn’t work for me.

Is the handmade area set up differently to normal amazon? Just wondering how to do this.

Any advice would be really greatly appreciated, many thanks

Do you get "Handmade Products" Browse - and then all sorts of categories?

If you do, then that's all you need if you are verified on Handmade at Amazon. Choose your product and carry on. It automatically accepts there isn't GTIN for handmade products.

I know it has been a while but I wanted to check whether you were able to apply for a GTIN exemption for your handmade products.
