Irrelevant Attributes

Hi There,

I have just noticed that when I go to edit a listing, I am getting product details ! when i go to it, its asking for Plug Type and Accepted voltage frequency,

All of my products are brush and duster items, all manual handheld products, some been on Amazon for many years.

How do i get these removed, as cant change anything until I put something in the boxes.

many thanks
Ray

We have noticed the same thing - “does it include batteries” on glassware for example. We have just been putting not applicable as I do not think there is a workaround to STOP them appearing on your edit listings page

Having the same issue in a totally different category of home decor. Plugs you can set no plug, however voltage selection is mandatory and cannot be skipped.

I found a workaround that has worked, basically i went down and on the question mark if the attribute is irrelevant i ticked that, when i got to the plug, i said no plug, then went into the voltage , and set to Select, then on the power plug above, i clicked add more, then set that also to no plug, then the ! disappears, there is also some on compliance, i set these to not applicable, then i can save , have done about 5 products now, and checked after the 15 minutes update and these attributes are no longer highlighting.

they gave me a spreadsheet to do changes too, but is quite lengthy, so basically we just need to tell it which attributes are not applicable.

give it a try.

It’s ridiculous, having to select vtage and them go up and select no plug on home items such as towels.
Will try clicking the irrelevant bit on the question mark - thought that was just feedback to amazon for the attribute not being relevant.
It’s impossible on Amazon right now with brand approval issues, gtin exemptions for generic not being granted and this mess when creating listings
