Closed account blocked access to Brand Registry
We recently received an email from ofm amazon saying that they had closed our account. The reason given was that it was "linked to another account which had previously been closed" - this is nonsense - we've never had another account closed. And obviously, Amazon being Amazon have ignored our requests for more information / appeals parroting the same lines over and over again. However we now get an error message if we try and log in anywhere saying "the accounts been closed for abusing amazon services" - what we found out having read quite a few other posts on here regarding similar issues is that it was most likely caused by us requesting too many refunds on our purchasing account. These were all genuine requests - we have had problems with some items which we order in bulk using the business discounts being packaged in A4 envelopes instead of the box that it requires - the envelopes pop open and we only received a partial order. I understand that it probably does look suspicious on paper that we had the same issue multiple times - but it was a genuine issue which i raised more than once to customer support - but of course, why fix a problem when its far easier to shut the person up by deleting them? If there was any other things we have done wrong then we received no warnings of anything we supposedly did, but i think it most likely the return issue.
Anyway - we can live without a purchasing account, the bigger issue is that our seller account and brand registry accounts are linked to the same email address which we now no longer have access to. We have no access to any of our tax records in Amazon which we'll need for HMRC - but the main issue:
1. Is it possible to move brand registry ownership to another seller without access to the current registered account?
2. If we do manage to get it moved - how much risk is there to the other seller that this account is then flagged as "linked to another account..." ?
We have other trusted sellers we sell our products to for sale on Amazon - but without any access to brand registry it makes it incredibly hard to update any content on the listings. I don't however want to put any of those innocent sellers at risk by trying to get brand registry assigned to them.
