Listing New Product with Existing Product Listings in wrong Category
Hi All,
Firstly thanks for you help and info. We are listing new products (Noodles and Paster) that we have exclusive right to distribute and sell in the United States. We have all UPC and EAN numbers ready, however, when we tried to list on Amazon Seller Center, it shows that someone, NOT THE MANUFACTURER, already listed the products before using the same EAN/UPC but they put listed the products under Electronic Devices/Food Equipment. How do I change the category of the listing so that it can be in the correct category?
Or another question is that, how do I request Amazon to remove that existing so we can list our products on Amazon? We have the exclusive right to distribute the products in the United States, so I believe that someone else is listing the products without Authorization of the manufacturer.

Hi @Seller_y25dFTmZq9f8j,
Steve from Amazon, thank you for reaching out in the Forums. I have reviewed this brand name and see that it is not enrolled in the Amazon Brand Registry program. I recommend that the brand be enrolled in this program. Please note that the brand owner must complete this process.
If you are not the brand owner, once the brand is enrolled you can be listed as a Registered Agent or a Reseller.
Amazon Brand Registry is a global service that helps you protect your brand’s intellectual property (IP). When you enroll in Brand Registry, you unlock eligibility for a suite of tools that allows you to more easily manage your brand’s product listings, find and report IP violations, and prevent non-authentication.
Please see below for more information on this program.
