Selling alcohol across Europe (exise duty & other associated fees)

We are a uk manufacturer of alcoholic spirits. We are looking to sell into Europe (from a bonded warehouse in the Netherlands). Do we need a partner to help with import charges, papers, exise duties, tax & anything else/etc or do Amazon help cover this if we're using FBA/Pan-Euro program etc?

We would in theory send stock to AMZ warehouses across Europe from our warehouse in Netherlands.

Thanks

Hello @Seller_R6FnukOcI6nzh,

Here Simon from Amazon, happy to try and help.

While I'm unable to provide advice on this, I found a help pages you might want to take a look at:

- Pan-European FBA > Taxes

"Being enrolled in the FBA program or Pan-European FBA program, which allows Amazon to distribute your goods across EU stores, triggers your requirement to be Value Added Tax (VAT)-registered in the respective countries of storage. You will be responsible for the collection and payment of your taxes and the filing of all relevant returns where required."

Best,

Simon
