Hi, I would like to check for my carton box, do I need to print the UPC or Amazon FNSKU or ITF-14 barcode on it?

Is this the box you send to FBA or the box Amazon sends to the customer? ONE unit inside?

Hi @Seller_8PqBvEmJzomaB,

According to the Shipping Label Requirements help page here, each box must have an Amazon FBA box ID label that's:

  • Placed on a flat surface (not on seams or corners)
  • Kept uncovered so it's scannable
  • Unique to that box (no photocopying or reusing labels)

As for other barcodes like UPC, FNSKU, or ITF-14: The Packaging Requirements section here states you should "remove, cover, or render unscannable any existing scannable barcodes on the outside of shipping boxes." This prevents the wrong barcode from being scanned during receiving.

Best regards, Michael
