DG FBA Fulfillable vs DG Program
I'm a new Amazon seller with a product that includes a lithium battery, flagged as dangerous goods by FBA. Ive submitted the necessary MSDS and exemption documentation and Amazon listed the item as dangerous goods FBA fulfillable. I'm currently on the waitlist for Amazon's Dangerous Goods Program since 3/31.
Despite the DG FBA fulfillable classification of my product I have 0.00 capacity allocated for flammable/aerosol storage.
My primary concern is whether acceptance into the Dangerous Goods Program is a prerequisite for sending my units into Amazon for fulfillment. The guidance in Seller Central regarding the Dangerous Goods Program is somewhat vague, particularly the use of the term 'additional' in phrases like 'you can send additional dangerous goods...'. Does this imply only products beyond a certain hazmat capacity are affected, or does it encompass all items classified as hazardous materials?
There are so many contradicting answers online. The language Amazon uses regarding the dg program is ambiguous and doesn’t provide a definitive answer. I would like to know with 100% certainty that I can sell the product if I’m not enrolled in the program but the product is DG FBA fulfillable. Please provide clarification.
Am I absolutely required to be enrolled in the dg program before sending a shipment to Amazon of products that have been deemed DG FBA fulfillable?

Greetings @Seller_js9zCIBDowvBr,
You are correct that certain dangerous goods can be sold FBA, as outlined in this Seller Central help page: "Dangerous goods that can be sold through FBA
As a seller on Amazon, you must ensure that your products comply with all dangerous goods regulations. The following dangerous goods can be sold through FBA:" - I can't format the table here, but if you follow the link you will see it.
For any dangerous good that does not fall under the class/division definitions provided in the above referenced table, you will need to be enrolled in the FBA Dangerous Goods program (as this allows you to send in additional Dangerous Goods).
Let me know if you have any follow up questions or thoughts!
