Utility Bill Wobble - Amazon US account verification
Hi everyone,
I currently sell on the UK marketplace, and over a year ago tried to open up an Amazon US account. My account got suspended with an email saying that they required a utility bill.
Here’s my problem.
I have a limited company, which is what my Amazon account is under. But because I sell online I don’t have a business premises and so I can’t provide a utility bill that matches the business name. All utility bills are under my personal name.
Does anyone have any advice?

Not sure if it’s the same on US but on UK site, if you register a ltd company that’s at a virtual address, they usually ask for a personal bank statement

Going back to original issue. I updated all my info on my Amazon US account, making sure it all matched up to my business name, and I got this:
“To reactivate your account, please confirm that there is a valid credit card on file and provide one of the following documents in PDF, PNG, JPEG, or GIF format. The documents must be legible, authentic, and unaltered and contain the required information. The name and address on the document must match the information entered in Seller Central.
– A business license if applicable.
– A utility bill dated within the last 90 days for piped gas, natural gas, electricity, piped water, mobile phone, fixed-line phone, or internet service with name and address visible.”
So I still have the same issue, of not having a utility/fixed-phone bill etc that match my business name. They are all under my personal name. If I got the insurance we are talking about do you think they would accept this? Has anyone used an insurance invoice/certificate as proof for verification in cases like this?

I’m not sure what the bots are looking for then as we have submitted EXACTLY to the dot what they have requested from us, but it’s still insufficient… Perhaps it’s worth putting together a portfolio of documents under a PDF and submitting all the evidence…
