USPS NOT APPERAING AS A SHIPPING OPTION FOR SELLER FULFILLED ORDERS
Hello, I ship a large volume of seller-fulfilled orders daily with USPS. Since this past weekend, USPS is not appearing as a shipping option. I have not changed my shipping settings and never had this issue.
I am seeing some other posts of sellers seeing similar issues with USPS.
Could this possibly be an issue on an account level? I cannot believe it is location-based because every order is having this issue.
Were any changes made on Amazon's end for USPS eligibility when shipping orders?
I have opened cases but support does not seem to understand the issue correctly.

Do you possibly use an automated shipping template? Was automated handling time enabled for your account?

Hello @Seller_TRrg6RXBaQSIH. Other sellers reported being unable to select either UPS or USPS shipping options earlier today, but sellers reported the issue has been corrected.
UPS/USPS SHIPPING OPTION NOT AVAILABLE THIS MORNING
This is likely an account-level issue. Do USPS options appear in your dropdown list of shipping options (but not eligible or able to meet the delivery promise), or are they not appear at all?
Please check your Buy Shipping preferences to see if USPS is blocked. If you are using Shipping Settings Automation, please check those settings as well.
Finally, please open a support case and request guidance on activating USPS options.

I had no problems today, which makes me wonder what could be different.
Were you "rewarded" by Amazon by having them set your handling and/or transit times shorter than you wanted them set (you'll need to check; they do this without permission or notification).
I wonder if the "improvements" are causing problems, because Amazon is now forcing sellers to promise impossible to meet timelines.

we've been having this issue for weeks now...either you set your shipping template times to automated and Amazon adds a ridiculous amount of time to the estimate buyers see on the listing (driving more FBA business away from FBM) or you set your own realistic estimates on the templates (and they still add several days to what buyers see) and they force you to either ship using very expensive methods or ship outside of Amazon, leaving yourself open to A to Z claims for INR...this platform is getting less and less friendly for FBM sellers.
This also gets compounded on weekends and Mondays by the fact that regardless of what Amazon reps say they ARE counting weekends as ship days when it comes to what ship methods they allow...we've even noticed a difference in what ship options are available for an order on Sunday day vs. Sunday night so all days are being counted against us for ship methods.

This happened to me last week. I had to go in and select them as the default carrier again and it wasn't easy to find!
