FBA Returns - Just Venting!

I can see on my returns report today a return of an electronics item I sold in March 2018. That is over 16 months ago. The item was discontinued at Christmas and I sold the last one Feb 2nd. I opened a case with Seller Support but they just quoted the terms which says 30 days but Amazon can make exceptions which I have to agree with, I can appreciate a little wiggle room… but 16 Months!!!

Yes, unfortunately, Amazon will accept out of policy returns for FBA orders at their own discretion even months or years after the purchase date, since you agreed to their rules when you signed up for FBA.

However, I know sellers who open cases with the Seller Support over this and manage to get reimbursed. So you can try documenting everything and maybe Amazon will reimburse you - at least partially.
