A branded product is being registered under a wrong brand

Hi all,

I believe many might have faced a similar issue before so need the community help on this.

I have a branded product from "Brand A" which I want to sell on Amazon. But that product for some reason is registered under a brand "B".

When I entered the UPC code of the product the amazon catalogue matches it with the ASIN xxxxxxx which is registered under the brand B even though product is belong to brand A.

I bought the product from a very well known and authorised wholesaler in UK, but even after providing the invoice etc Amazon has completely failed to resolve the issue.

The case I opened is : 11037000002.

All I get from the amazon is the following response:

Thank you for your application to sell Brand B (which is wrong) products.

We have reviewed the documentation you provided and determined that it does not meet our requirements for the following reasons:

File name: invoice from supplier

-- We were not able to match the product on your invoice with what you are applying to sell. You must provide an invoice with a model number, product name or UPC that reflects brand B products.

Can someone guide on this how can I resolve this issue please?

Amazon support is utterly pathetic and non serious in resolving the issues.

Thanks in advance.

the quick answer is sell it somewhere else.

Otherwise all you can do is keep opening cases with seller support explaining the brand is wrong until someone understands

After chasing amazon on phone multiple times this is a response they sent to me:

Hello from Amazon Selling Partner Support,

We regret that this is taking longer time to assist you, but please be assured that we will be sending you a consolidated resolution soon with the complete details regarding your query.

In order to investigate this issue, we require the following:

– All ASINs that you want to update ( we saw example ASINS: B0BR6xxxx and B0924xxxx )

– The propose value

We can proceed with this case once we’ve received this information.

Important: If you aren’t the brand owner, you will need to provide proof supporting the suggested changes to the product detail page.

I have mentioned them that they need to change the brand name on one of the above ASIN and that should be their action.

For proposed value I told them the brand name who is an actual brand of the product. But for the last bit I am confused because I never claimed that my brand is an owner and owns the product. Even though they agreed to me on the phone but the reply makes me wonder if I will and up with the same resolution where Amazon will claim that we are not the owner and hence no action can be taken.

Any ideas on how to go around this? Support on the chat or email is an absolute trash until you speak to someone and try to put a sense in them.
