Evri chargind ridiculous amount of 'Adjustment' charges through Amazon. This time they have charged just under £20k

This is becoming beyond ridiculous now being charged these hidden adjustment charges after months without no prior warning. They have claimed they have charged oversized parcel surcharges although our parcels are within the dimensions allowed. Ask them to evidence it- it's unlikely they can. We have had similar issues with them last year (although not 30K)

This happened to us back in September 2023, over a year ago, and it seems nothing has changed. This is why we stopped using Evri. For us, the issue involved around £10,000 in one go. Our parcels were not oversized; this was unequivocally an issue with the Amazon/Evri system, as confirmed directly to me.

While we managed to recover most of it through dealing with our Evri account manager, it took months to resolve. Amazon, despite the fact that it was their buy shipping, took zero responsibility and refused to help. It seems they’re content to let third parties exploit their merchants.

To make matters worse, a year after we stopped using Evri, in September 2024, we noticed new "adjustment charges" on our account amounting to around £1,000 for buyshipping consignments from Sept 2023!. It's absolutely criminal.

I have been being charge on the Grattan invoice for additional charges that are then refunded by a credit note from Grattan. The debit amounts on the invoice are on may account but the credit entries never appear. This has been going on for several months now and I raise it every time a credit note is issued. As present no reply and no refund to my account.

It seems that August of this year something changed , we have always had to weird 10p , 50p surcharges the credit invoices , but from august last year we saw massive overcharges , 2kg parcels that are machine made and packaged in a tube so no possible way of them being out of scope being surcharged at a rate of £14.40 per parcel plus the initial £4.20.

To compound this issue, we are now receiving overcharges for transactions that occurred nearly a year ago. This practice is very concerning , raising questions about its legality?

Sometimes depending on how the parcels are fed onto the belts 2 can cross the weigh table at the same time. Ask them for the picture and see if this is the case for you."
